Cade can be a reader sometimes. He learned to read when he was like 4 years old. His aunts and grandma would read to him and teach him how to read. Cade would love to look at the pictures while they read. People read to pass time, become more informed, stay busy, or have something to look forward to. To be a good reader one has to concentrate and read a book they are interested in. Cade likes to read when it is quiet and comfortable. Cade likes books that are in first person and are full of action. Cade almost never reads at home. Cade feels like he has better things to than read at home. Unless Cade is antsy he doesn't mind reading.
Cade is not a writer at all. People learn to write in kindergarden and the teacher teaches the letters and then how to write them. People write to express their feelings, create something new, and have something to read later. To be a good writer one must have a topic to write about and an open mind. There isn't a lot that makes writing easy for him. Cade finds writing sort of difficult. The hardest part of writing is being able to continue writing. Cade can't always think of something to say. Cade just thinks to himself to find something to write about. He never reads at home. Cade doesn't have good feelings about writing.
